What can be done
  • Have Installations & Portable Appliances Tested & Inspected
  • Ensure the equipment is used by trained personel.
  • Have the correct equipment for the environment, i.e. wet, dry or dusty.
  • Weekly visual checks by trained personel. i.e. damaged flexes, damaged plug tops, joints in flexes,access to electrical parts [ missing covers], burn marks on plug or socket, flex not gripped by cord grip, etc.
